38 stories, one shared achievement: celebrating another graduation at 42 Urduliz Bizkaia

The Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Fundación Telefónica and CAF Signalling, the company sponsoring the graduation ceremony, joined us for a special event celebrating tech talent, new ways of learning and their connection to the professional world

On October 16, we experienced one of those moments that make our community so special: 38 students celebrated their graduation after completing the Common Core, the foundational stage of our training programme.

Behind this achievement are countless hours of coding, challenges overcome, collaborative projects and, above all, a strong desire to keep learning. This milestone is particularly exciting for us because, with this latest group, 105 students have now completed this stage of their training at 42 Urduliz Bizkaia. And the number keeps growing!

Celebrating with those who make 42 Urduliz Bizkaia possible

For such a special occasion, we were delighted to welcome Ainara Basurko, Provincial Councillor for Economic Promotion at the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, and Isabel Salazar, Managing Director of Fundación Telefónica, representing the two organisations behind our campus.

Together with Estíbaliz León, Director of 42 Urduliz Bizkaia, they highlighted the importance of investing in tech talent in Bizkaia and creating new training opportunities that respond to the needs of local businesses.

We also introduced CAF Signalling as the first-ever graduation sponsor company, represented by its General Manager, Jon Alzate. The company has already welcomed professionals trained through our methodology into its teams, demonstrating how collaboration between education and industry can create real career opportunities.

Much more than learning to code

The graduation was also a great opportunity to highlight what makes us different: a learning methodology based on hands-on experience, collaboration, problem-solving and, above all, learning how to learn.

Through the experiences shared by our students and professionals from companies such as CAF Signalling, SOC-E, RKL Integral and Telefónica, we explored how the skills developed at 42 translate into the workplace and open doors to new career opportunities.

Because completing the Common Core means much more than finishing a stage of training. It means proving that you can take on challenges, learn independently and continue growing in an industry that never stops evolving.

Congratulations to our 38 graduates! Thank you for your hard work, for sharing this journey with us and for showing just how far you can go when your passion for learning knows no limits.
